Keel Layup

  • The keel is an integral part, and is molded to the hull. The keel supporting structure (skin, there are no keel bolts used) is comprised of twenty four layers of 2408 inter woven to the structure of the hull during hull lay-up.  See arrows at right to note termination of keel weave.
